Voices for Peace (Stimmen F\u00fcr Den Frieden) ist ein virtuelles Konzert mit Musik und gesprochenem Wort. Sein Zweck besteht darin, durch den Austausch von Musik, Gebeten, Mantras und anderen gesprochenen Beitr\u00e4gen M\u00f6glichkeiten zu schaffen, Frieden zwischen Einzelpersonen, Familien und Gemeinschaften zu praktizieren. Der Erl\u00f6s aus dem Ticketverkauf wird an \u00c4rzte ohne Grenzen gespendet, eine gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisation, die allen Betroffenen der Konflikte in Syrien, Israel, Gaza und der Ukraine hilft.<\/p>\n

Alisha Diamond<\/strong> was a theater director and is currently a painter. She lived in Berlin and Bali. She returned home to connect to the roots of her Hebrew ancestors. Her mission has been to understand and introduce new thought patterns for a unity-based world. Sharon Wolfe<\/strong>, a member of the Hebrew Institute\/Bayit of Riverdale and a retired social work administrator, will join Alisha in reciting the kaddish memorial prayer.
We dedicate this prayer in memory of Betty Saltzman, z\u2019l (Alisha\u2019s mother) and in memory of the starseeds lovers and musicians who were killed in the Nova music festival in Southern Israel on October 7, 2023. We also dedicate this prayer in memory of the 1200 victims of terror along with all of those who were taken hostage on that tragic day. We close this prayer with a fervent wish for peace for all the inhabitants of this, our world.<\/p>\n

Sharon Wolfe<\/strong>, Mitglied des Hebr\u00e4ischen Instituts\/Bayit von Riverdale und Sozialarbeiterin im Ruhestand, wird gemeinsam mit Alisha das Kaddish-Gedenkgebet sprechen.
Wir widmen dieses Gebet im Gedenken an Betty Saltzman, z’l (Alishas Mutter) und im Gedenken an die Starseeds-Liebhaber und -Musiker, die am 7. Oktober 2023 beim Nova-Musikfestival in S\u00fcdisrael get\u00f6tet wurden. Wir widmen dieses Gebet auch dem Gedenken an die 1200 Terroropfer und all jene, die an jenem tragischen Tag als Geiseln genommen wurden. Singing runs like a common thread through my life, it gives me strength and I experience great joy – and so it was only logical to make it my profession…. I have been teaching singing and performing as a singer for 20 years and have been leading open singing groups, e.g. “Seelenlieder”, for over 10 years. A cappella improvisation has had a strong influence on me and has made my own expression much more authentic, whether I’m singing classical songs, pop or world music. With my work, I want to empower people, also by encouraging them to sing what defines and expresses them. Music and dancing is in Christine\u2019s understanding like food – an essential part of human life. That\u2019s why she founded 1988 a music association, to support students in playing and singing music while studying at the Technical University of Munich. \u201c6appeal\u201d- a vocal acapella choir became since 1998 her home for 25 years, leaving people joyful and motivated starting music for their own. Since 2022 she met Michael Stillwater and became inspired to start a new musical project in 2024.<\/p>\n

<\/span>She is a peace-maker, working with different peace organizations in Israel and abroad. Diane is originally from the USA, a child of two Holocaust survivors.

Improvisierend und vielstimmig tauchen wir ein in Klang und Stille, sind in Kommunion, w\u00e4hrend wir mit dem Einen kommunizieren. Eins sind wir im singenden Kreis der Liebe und der Liebenden.

Jim<\/strong> has been co-leading the locally known “Devotional Singing,” in N. San Diego County for close to 35 years.<\/p>\n

Jim and Lynn<\/strong> met at Devotional Singing 30 years ago; she later joined the music leadership. Together they have been making music ever since. They are primarily in cozy home venues, with Jim playing keyboard and Lynn on guitar, along with other leaders and a roomful of souls singing together.<\/p>\n

Jim also played, and eventually led San Diego \u201cSufi Dancing\u201d (Dances of Universal Peace). With Lynn’s assistance, they’ve strived to create Dance evenings from energetic to sublime.<\/p>\n

More recent efforts include tapping into the river of Song, with Michael Stillwater\u2019s songwriting classes, creating more original, often surprising, new music for Singing, and venues yet unknown!<\/p>\n

Jim<\/strong> ist seit fast 35 Jahren Mitleiter des lokal bekannten “Devotional Singing” in N. San Diego County.<\/p>\n

Jim und Lynn<\/strong> lernten sich vor 30 Jahren beim “Devotional Singing” kennen; sie schloss sich sp\u00e4ter der musikalischen Leitung an. Seitdem machen sie gemeinsam Musik. Sie treten haupts\u00e4chlich in gem\u00fctlichen Hauskreisen auf, mit Jim am Keyboard und Lynn an der Gitarre, zusammen mit anderen Leitern und einem Raum voller Seelen, die gemeinsam singen.<\/p>\n

Jim spielte auch und leitete schlie\u00dflich den “Sufi-Tanz” (T\u00e4nze des Universellen Friedens) in San Diego. Mit Lynns Unterst\u00fctzung haben sie sich bem\u00fcht, Tanzabende von energiegeladen bis erhaben zu gestalten.<\/p>\n

In j\u00fcngster Zeit haben sie mit den Songwriting-Kursen von Michael Stillwater den Fluss des Liedes angezapft und originelle, oft \u00fcberraschende neue Musik f\u00fcr Gesang und noch unbekannte Orte geschaffen.<\/p>\n

Mit ihrem ausgepr\u00e4gten Humor und ihrer Liebe f\u00fcr alles, was sich zeigen will, er\u00f6ffnet sie ihre Performance- R\u00e4ume, in denen jeder Besucher und jede Besucherin zum Akteur werden kann. With her distinctive sense of humour and her love for everything that wants to reveal itself, she opens up performance spaces in which every visitor can become an actor. Pamela<\/strong> is a formidable presence in the realm of creative music. She is an accomplished vocalist, violist and violinist, having played both instruments since grade school. She received a Professional Diploma at the Mannes College of Music of The New School in NYC, and a Teaching Artist Certification from Teachers College at Columbia University.
Pam is also certified teacher and instructor for the O’Connor Method American School for String Players, violin and theory teacher for the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance in New York City and has been the Jazz violin instructor for the Middle School Jazz Academy for Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Her greatest experiences, however, have come in the professional performance fields.
Pam has performed here and abroad for over forty years. She has performed and shared the stage with a variety of luminaries from the Jazz world (like Spiro Gyra, Earl Klugh, Stephan Grappelli), R&B groups, such as Al Green, WAR, Grand Funk Railroad, with recording artists Bette Midler, Eric Burdon (of the Animals) and others, and Gospel artists including Shirley Caesar, Bishop Hezekiah Walker and Donnie McClurkin.
Pamela also leads her own band, appropriately named The Pam Hamilton Group (and affectionately known as \u201cThe Pamm Hamm Band\u201d). She has played violin and viola in opera companies, classical quartets and ensembles and recording sessions. During the holiday season this year she will be performing in the Holiday Gospel Celebration at Carnegie Hall.<\/p>\n

He graduated summa cum laude as a music composition student of John Corigliano, was a dramatist student of Broadway’s William Hoffman, and received his MA in Gregorian Chant from The University of Limerick, Ireland. He composed the music for the musicals \u201cStations\u201d and \u201cSwing Street.\u201d He has served as staff pianist at Dance Theatre of Harlem and for The Kansas City Ballet, and is the cofounder of ChromaDiverse, Inc. and Paul Novosel Music, LLC. He with Judy Tyrus authored the Amazon best selling book \u201cDance Theatre of Harlem,\u201d which garnered an NAACP Image Award nomination. Both became an important part of my life. Writing my own songs started much later though.
When I looked for a deeper meaning of life and started with a “spitritual” search, the songs I used to sing somehow did not fit anymore.
A dear friend, an American songwriter, encouraged me to write some German lyrics for him. Since he “forgot about it”, I thought, maybe I should write my own song…
This is the way it all started.

Mein Name ist Rose Rambatz<\/strong>. Ich wurde in eine musikalische Familie geboren, liebte es zu singen und lernte schon fr\u00fch, Gitarre zu spielen.
Obwohl dies ein wichtiger Teil meines Lebens wurde, fing das Schreiben eigener Lieder erst viel sp\u00e4ter an.
Als ich mich auf die Suche nach einem tieferen Sinn des Lebens begab und einen “spirituellen” Weg einschlug, stimmten pl\u00f6tzlich die alten Lieder nicht mehr.
Ein guter amerikanischer Freund und Liedermacher ermutigte mich, einen deutschen Liedtext f\u00fcr ihn zu schreiben. Da es bei ihm “in Vergessenheit geriet”, dachte ich, vielleicht sollte ich mein eigenes Lied schreiben…
So fing alles an.
Ansonsten arbeite ich seit 24 Jahren als Ergotherapeutin im p\u00e4diatrischen Bereich.<\/p>\n
